Irrigation areas and water sources
Shizitou Canal diverts water from Laonong River, while tail water from Zhuzimen Power Plant is used to draw water from Laonong River to generate electricity. It is then introduced into the main Shizitou Canal to irrigate farmland downstream, with an irrigation area of 4,400 hectares.
Meinongshui Canal has three main canals. The diversion of the first and second main canals is controlled by 10 water gates in Shixue.
